My family bought our first computer when I was only three. Since then I've spent most of my time exploring the endlessly fascinating world of technology and the internet. My parents are teachers and I love and admire them beyond words, so maybe that's what got me into education. After seeing several schools, and working in one for a year I heard my true calling. Don't get me wrong, teaching is great. The secret behind the success story of Finnish education is largely due to the high education of teachers, and the freedom to choose the best teaching methods based on the needs of each group, and even each student. However, my true passion lies in educating people about the opportunities provided by digitalization.
I'm also passionate about promoting Finland since we're one of the highest rated nations on almost every international indicator. We're just too humble to admit it, let alone to advertise this peculiarly honest, straight-forward, and perfectly located crossroads of the east and west. This is exactly what I aspire to do: to bring the brand of Finland to the level that it deserves.
Finland needs primus motors who are able to deliver a strong and professional message that voices the current, and the future strengths of this nation and its businesses: safety, sustainability and stability. These are the true "three S's" that Finland thrives upon – and the values that should be promoted through the core ingredients of the Finnish identity: honesty and straight-forwardness. This country, and the success story that is Finland was created in record time. It was built through hard work, with no time for fancy words and false promises. And this is the image that Finnish businesses should continue to deliver – honest and hardworking professionals with no need for chit-chat.

I want to practice what I preach and therefore I am putting this vision into practice by working as an entrepreneur who is always eager to become involved in new and exciting projects. Digitalization, IoT and big data will bring us into an unprecedented era of transparency. This process is already well underway. Even though buzz words and catch phrases will perhaps continue as marketing and advertisement tools, they will inevitably reveal their true nature as empty words in the information overload that is to come. At that time, the aforementioned core values of the Finnish identity will shine through the actions of every business, and customers will choose their service providers based on their true nature, not the nature they are trying to reflect.
